Todd Grimshaw
Todd James Grimshaw is a fictional character from the British soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Bruno Langley. He first appeared on 14 January 2001, following the arrivals of mother Eileen (Sue Cleaver) and brother Jason (Ryan Thomas) the year before. Todd's storylines included: a relationship with Sarah-Louise Platt (Tina O'Brien), becoming the soap's first homosexual character, having an affair with Karl Foster (Chris Finch) behind Sarah's back and having a premature child with Sarah, who dies within 24 hours.
Langley chose to leave the show in 2004 and his departure scenes as Todd aired on 22 September 2004. He returned for fifteen episodes in 2007 to tie in with Jason's wedding to Sarah-Louise and once again for one episode on 24 April 2011 to visit his family. In June 2013, it was revealed that Langley would be reprising his role as Todd permanently. Todd's return scenes aired on 4 November 2013.
